Welcome Engineers is very proud to bring in the market our advanced Dissolved Air Floatation Units, also known as DAF in general. These are a requirement meant for the purpose of treatment of industrial and municipal wastewater. In very simple terms, DAF units follow the air flotation method for separating oils, grease, solid.
A DAF unit operates by dissolving air in water under pressure and then releasing the air at atmospheric pressure in a flotation tank. The released air forms microbubbles that attach onto suspended particles, thus causing them to float. The floated particles are then skimmed off, therefore, leaving behind cleaner water. It is, in fact, a very powerful system of removal of fine particulates, resulting in superior clarity of water.
Augmented Removal of Suspended Solids: DAF units can well handle the removal of fine particulates and oils with very low and high molecular weights, respectively, which the traditional pieces of equipment fail to do in treatment processes.
Improved Water Quality: So far, as the removal of suspended solids and contaminants is concerned, DAF systems produce water of very superior quality.
Compact Design: DAF units have a small footprint and, being compact, are ideal for use in space-constrained installations.
